New holiday house on beachfront property amidst sand dunes with dramatic ocean surf views from all rooms. A two-storey building form was achieved within single-storey height restriction planning envelope.
Sloped glazing to the sea front elevation deflects persistent strong off shore wind and facilitates easy cleaning of sea salt build-up from the glazing with long-handled wipers.
Adjustable natural ventilation openings at glazing base are protected from the persistent off-shore wind and act to purge summer heat build-up behind the glazing not dissimilar to vintage car windscreen designs.
