A single-storey row house and a loft over a rear garage, comprising a linear arrangement of 3 building pavilions between 2 courtyards, utilising the long narrow site and the rear lane frontage.

The two house pavilions zone sleeping and living areas and are connected by a glazed exterior link as one moves from one pavilion to the next.

Ample daylight enters the length of house via 5 large lantern lights rotated at 45 degrees to a north orientation to capture winter sun.

The crisply detailed gable end vents to the house pavilions provide natural ventilation through the roof-space to avoid summer heat gain building up within the roof transmitting to the habitable spaces below.
